MERLEY is a row housing project composed of three attached single-family homes, designed with a contemporary and cohesive architectural approach. The project reflects an efficient use of space and land while maintaining the individuality of each unit within a unified composition.
The architecture is defined by clean lines, compact volumes, and a minimalist facade treatment, primarily featuring smooth white plaster. The repetition of similar forms is carefully balanced with subtle variations in window placement and entrance articulation to distinguish each unit and enhance their identity.
Functionally, each house is organized to provide maximum comfort and privacy, with rational layouts that promote natural light, fluid circulation, and efficient spatial division. Despite their shared structure, each home is designed to function independently, creating a balanced sense of community and autonomy.
